We have been promised an Alita Battle Angel movie for several years. James Cameron had it on his plate to make but then he got busy with Avatar and making the sequels to that blockbuster. He enlisted the help of his friend Robert Rodriguez.

Robert had a daunting challenge ahead of him to make the movie capture the human side of Alita while still having stunning special effects that capture all the action of the manga.

The story is your typical love story between two people from very different backgrounds. Robert Rodriguez was able to walk that fine line between making you care about the main character while also blowing you away with action and graphics. The two hours seemed to whiz by.

Keep your eyes open for an uncredited appearance from a prominent actor near the end. The movie also leaves it wide open for the possibility of a sequel. So far, Alita is performing better than expected at the box office so the probability of a sequel is pretty high.

We admittedly have not read the manga for Alita so we can't speak to it's accuracy to the source material. Let us know if the movie is true to the manga. Do you agree with us that it is a very entertaining and action packed movie? Let us know in the comments.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines game as an activity engaged in for diversion or amusement. It also says game is a physical or mental competition conducted according to rules with the participants in direct opposition to each other.

Trevor and Danny discuss these two different aspects of gaming. Are you with Trevor in saying a game has competition with a clearly defined winner, or are you team Danny in saying a game can be an activity where the players just participate to have fun? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Disney's animated Aladdin was a huge success. Casting Robin Williams as the genie turned out to be a great idea. Robin's animated mannerisms fit the genie's persona perfectly. His portrayal of the genie was iconic.

Disney is in the midst of making "live action" remakes of a lot of their popular titles. I put live action in quotes as they still rely heavily on CGI. They dropped the newest trailer for Aladdin with Will Smith portraying the genie. Not only did they make him blue, but they CGI'd his face onto a big, buff genie body. Something about the look draws you right out of the trailer. The appearance is a bit jarring to the eyes.

When Marvel first showed early clips of Thanos, people complained about his appearance as well. Marvel took note and went back in and improved the CGI to the point that you believe his character is there in the movie. Let's hope Disney does the same with the genie and makes him blend into the movie better.

Do you agree with us about how Will Smith looks as a CGI genie in the trailer? Or do you not mind his appearance? Let us know in the comments.

Have you ever bought a board/card game that came in a big beautiful box and then open it at home to find it only uses about 20% of the space inside? Does that irk you like it does Trevor? Or do you appreciate the big box as an eye catcher on your shelf like Danny?

Trevor and Danny discuss their pros and cons about board game packaging/boxes that are much larger than they need to be to store the components. Let them know in the comments if you agree with Trevor and Danny.

Hulu has thrown their hat in the ring of making original programming for their platform. They've had some success with shows like The Runaways, The Mindy Project, Castle Rock, 11.22.63, Harlots, and The Handmaid's Tale. With this award winning content, great shows like Future Man kinda get lost.

It was one of those rare moments when I had caught up watching everything on my DVR, had already seen all the good stuff on Netflix, and was slumming my way through Hulu. I ran across Future Man and thought it looked mildly amusing. I settled in on the couch and started episode 1. Thirteen episodes later I couldn't believe there wasn't more buzz for this show. When the second season became available I binge watched it in one night.

I let Patrick know he needed to watch this show and he marathon watched both seasons. We decided to become ambassadors for Future Man and spread the word about this hilarious series. If you are a fan of the sci-fi genre and love a good parody, then Future Man should definitely be on your watch-list. This show makes fun of sci-fi while paying homage to it at the same time.

Check out Future Man and let us know if you agree. Do you think it is a hilarious parody/spoof of sci-fi or do you find it not funny at all? Let us know in the comments.

Jason David Frank, or JDF, is known mostly for his portrayal of Tommy Oliver in the Power Rangers universe.  He has been the Green, Red, White, Black, and even Ninja Ranger.  He was also Lord Drakkon in the Shattered Grid story-line.  He has reprised the role of Green and White Power Ranger in the BatintheSun "Super Power Beat Down" series.  He has also been Bloodshot in the Valiant Comics "Ninjak vs the Valiant Universe" web series.

We find out that JDF is working on his spoken word/poetry.  There are also plans for him to venture into the wrestling arena.  All of this is in addition to his busy appearance schedule.  We are happy he was able to find some time for us to do this interview.  If you listen close you can hear the airport announcements in the background as he was waiting to catch a flight.

Most importantly, we find out if JDF is Team Cake or Team Pie!

Intellectual Property (IP) Games are those that incorporate a known entity into their game. The easiest example is Monopoly. You can buy Monopoly that is branded with multiple IPs. They have Sailor Moon Monopoly, Rick & Morty Monopoly, etc. The idea is people who would not normally purchase that game might be pushed to the cash register if it has their favorite characters in it.

Trevor and Danny discuss the pros and cons of game manufacturers using IPs in their games. Let us know if you agree with Trevor or with Danny in the comments.

The original two Ghostbuster movies set the bar pretty high for any follow-ons. The distinctive jump suits, proton packs, and the iconic Ecto-1 will be forever enshrined in our memories.

Then came the Ghostbuster cartoons, which were surprisingly good in their own right. Many a Saturday morning were spent watching Real Ghostbusters on TV (pre-cable/on demand).

In 2016 they decided to reboot the Ghostbuster franchise with an all female team of Ghostbusters. Sony made this decision partly due to the death of Harold Ramis (Spengler) and Bill Murray's (Venkman) refusal to be part of it. Unfortunately, Ghostbusters: Answer the Call fell short of expectations at the box office. Therefore, Sony decided not to pursue any sequels to the reboot.

In late 2018, rumors started circulating about a sequel to the original two Ghostbusters movies. That was confirmed in January 2019 when a one minute trailer was released showing the Ecto-1 under a tarp in a barn. Ectoplasm can be seen on the picket fence and you can hear the sounds of someone working on and starting a proton pack.

Early rumors are also saying most of the original cast will be returning, Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Ernie Hudson. We are crossing our fingers that we will also see Annie Potts, Sigourney Weaver, and Rick Moranis. Let's hope they don't go over the top with the comedy schtick. After all, Ghostbusters was really a paranormal/occult movie with just the right amount of humor woven into the story. Let's hope they can capture lightning in a bottle one more time.

Are you looking forward to another Ghostbusters movie like us or have you had your fill? What is your favorite part of the Ghostbusters universe? Who is your favorite Ghostbuster (from any iteration)? Let us know in the comments.
