Part 2 of 2 for Episode 015 with Mark Mackesy!

Being brought to the race track at just 4 days old to his dad's race, was just the beginning of life at the races for Mark Mackesy. When a work injury put his dad's racing on hold, it gave Mark the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a Super Late Model. Eventually then splitting time with his dad in his car, he then stepped out into his own. Growing up racing around and spending time with his racing mentors like Tom Reffner, Jimmy Back, and Dick Trickle, gave him a front seat view of how those men raced and taught him how to race. Mark has accumulated many wins, a CWRA championship, and acquired the nickname of "The King of State Park Speedway". Through all of the wins and great times racing, "sometimes the spectacle was which bar are we going to after".
