When we think of physical rehabilitation, we often think of a younger athlete wanting to get back to their sport.

However, it is often overlooked and arguably more important for clinicians to pay attention to the functional capacity of our older clients after periods of illness, injury &/or immobilisation. 

In this episode Talysha shares some insights regarding the impact ageing has on our skeletal muscle and how this can be further amplified due to periods of immobilisation &/or inactivity.
