两会上海代表团审议《全国人大常委会工作报告》

NPC deputies from Shanghai discussed the NPC Standing Committee’s work report this morning. They hailed【赞扬】the improvement of the people’s congress system and the committee’s legislative work in promoting high-quality development. Tang Xiaofan has more.

十四届全国人大一次会议上海代表团今天上午（03/08）举行小组会议，审议《全国人大常委会工作报告》，对人民代表大会制度的完善和常委会在立法方面促推高质量发展表示高度赞扬。记者唐晓帆带来详细报道。

During the group meeting, Shanghai delegates hailed the legislative work completed in the past five years. According to the work report, the national legislature enacted【制定】 47 laws and conducted 111 rounds of revision to existing laws.

会议上，上海代表们赞扬了过去五年在立法方面的工作成效。据常委会工作报告，国家立法机关在过去五年中制定法律47件、修改现行法律111件次。

The legislation covered the improvement of the country’s political system, as well as agriculture and environmental protections.

这些立法工作涵盖了改善国家政治制度、农业和环境保护等领域。

Delegates suggested strengthening legislation on national security, consumer finance and the protection of intellectual property rights.

Delegates also expressed satisfaction regarding the work of the NPC Standing Committee, which has ensured the powers of all state organs and their employees are subject to appropriate checks and oversight【监督】.

代表们还肯定了全国人大常委会的工作，表示常委会确保了所有国家机关及其工作人员的权力都受到适当监督。

4.U.S.,GERMAN MEDIA REPORTS SAY NORD STREAM SABOTEURS WERE UKRAINIAN

美、德媒体将"北溪"爆炸事件矛头指向乌克兰

The New York Times and German newspaper Die Zeit reported yesterday that U.S. and German intelligence have implicated Ukraine in the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipelines in September 2022. However, neither newspaper has drawn conclusions over who ordered the attack. Stephen Rancourt has more.

《纽约时报》和德国《时代周报》昨日（03/07）报道，美国和德国情报部门暗示某个亲乌克兰团体在去年9月20日至22日破坏了北溪输油管道。然而，两份报纸都未对下令攻击者作出定论。记者Stephen Rancourt带来详细报道。

The New York Times quoted U.S. officials as saying they had no evidence that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy or his top officials were involved. The U.S. report went on to say the saboteurs【破坏者】 were most likely Ukrainian, and that no U.S. or British nationals were involved in the explosions.

《纽约时报》援引美国政府官员的话称，他们没有证据表明乌克兰总统弗拉基米尔·泽连斯基或其高级副手涉及其中。报道还声称破坏者很可能是乌克兰人，没有美国或英国公民参与其中。

Germany’s Die Zeit said investigators had identified a yacht, from a company in Poland that was allegedly used by the saboteurs to carry out the attack. The reports aid it involved a team of six people, including two divers and two dive assistants. The team returned the yacht without having cleaned up, allowing investigators to discover traces of explosives. Die Zeit quoted a Western intelligence service as attributing the incident to a Ukrainian special operations team.

Ukraine has denied any role in the attack, while Russia continues to demand an independent international inquiry to be set up in response to the report. Its deputy envoy to the UN said Moscow would call for a vote at the UN security council on whether to launch one. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed the U.S. reports as a coordinated effort by "the authors of the attack" to divert attention.

3.3D-PRINTED ROCKET TO LAUNCH INTO SPACE

The world’s first 3D printed rocket, Terran1, is ready for its first ever launch in just several hours from Florida in the United States. Zhang Hong has more.

The 33.5 meter tall Terran 1 was 3D printed and assembled in just 60 days. It has nine engines on its first stage, and one on its second stage, also 3D printed, the engine are powered by liquid oxygen and liquid natural gas.

As the largest 3D printed object ever built, it is 85 percent 3D printed, and the company said they aim to increase that to 95 percent in future.

The company says they see a future where human colonies create industrial bases on Earth and on Mars using scarce available resources to 3D print many of the tools, components, and structures they require to survive.
