The Government has introduced 3 new bills under the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ package that strives to reform Agriculture. These laws govern agricultural produce marketing, contract farming and an amendment to the Essential Commodities Act (ECA). There has been both, praise and protest, regarding the same.
