Hi, I'm Danielle Ireland, and I love talking to people. So much so that I made it my profession, and now solicit friends and colleagues to talk about their life with a microphone in their face;) The purpose of this podcast is to remedy the "I'm alone," "I suck," and "everyone seems to have it all figured out but me" feelings. I wanted to remind myself, and you, we aren't alone.

I am endlessly fascinated by people who, in the face of fear, try to make their dreams a reality & who can find the joy or humor in the struggle. I LOVE a good story; a story of fear, doubt, and eventually TRIUMPH (the hero's journey). The only problem was that in my real life, I felt like I was surrounded by before-and-after stories...

Before - "I used to feel miserable, scared, and alone...just like you."

After - "NOW, I'm happy, amazing, and everything is awesome!"

I'd hear these stories, or see these images on social media and think, "SWEET! Me too! Sign me up!" Then, I'd go to do the work, and fall flat on my face. I wanted to hear more about the messy middle. What happens when things don't work out?
