Is your branding consistent?
In this 2nd of our "how to market your business" series on the podcast, I want to talk to you about how your customer perceiving your business, before they even get in the chair.
In this short episode, I'm giving you some food for thought. I want you to have a look at your website, at your social media, at your email communications. A client should be able to see any of these platforms and know immediately - oh that's Lexi! You need to showcase from the moment somebody finds you how professional you are, and how easy it is going to be for them to work with you.
You have 17 - 22 touch points in retail, well guess what, in marketing there is that plus more. It's not just about social media, it's just about your brand colours, it's about so much more.
So take this 15 (or so) minutes for you, and then when you finish listening, have a look through the platforms you use, and see if there is any room for improvement based on the tips in this episode.

How do I beat stress in my business?
Running in a constant stressed state is not good for our mind, body or soul.
In this episode, I share with you some practical ways that you can combat stress in your business and ultimately beat it before it takes hold of you.
I am not talking about business planning in this episode, and you know your gal loves her planning, that being said, these steps will work better with solid planning as a foundation for everything else in your day to day world.
I want you to build your business that is in alignment with your Dream 10. I want your business to bring you joy, not bring you burnout. Remember stress is like the tides in the sea, it comes and it goes. But what I am speaking about in this episode is that constant stress, that stressed state that doesn't leave you, it's with you in work, it's with you at home, its everywhere.
Also, if you didn't listen to last week's episode, How to be happy in your business, go back and have a listen to that too. These two episodes will really help if you are losing sight of where you want to go.
After listening, I would love you to tag me in a story - simply say "I wrote my permission slip", you'll understand why after the episode.
I get vulnerable in this episode, I get honest and real, so I hope you enjoy!

How to be happy in business
This episode is a little different to my norm. But this topic is so important, and isn't spoken about enough.
When was the last time that you stopped and took stock of what was going on in your business, thinking "is my business making me happy", "is my business bringing me joy". Because if the answer is no to either of those questions then WTF, like seriously. I know right, I've been there, when you are so stuck in your business that you can't see out. But I hope this episode will be like a record scratch, a reminder for you to stop for a few minutes and evaluate what's going on, what is working well, what is bringing you joy and what isn't.
Please let me know what you think of this episode, because it is a little different, so I would love to know what you think.
Enjoy

What is connecting together well in your business and what isn't?
I am always thinking about you, my podcast people. In this episode, I am sharing with you my latest AHA moment that I had.
The difference between business mindset and business acumen.
Business mindset is so important, it's what drives us. BUT you cannot just rely on business mindset alone. You need to couple your mindset up with a plan and your business strategy. It's what I'm talking you through in this episode.
Enjoy

"A goal without a plan is just a wish"
I realise that sometimes we have to hear things more than once for absorb all the information, it's what I coach my students on all the time within my programs, if you want your clients to buy retail or extra services from you, you need to remind them what you sell, over and over. So, that's what we are doing this week, we are revisiting an episode from this time last year because it was so dang good and so relevant to business today.
This is our "business planning blueprint" episode, which is all about planning for your holiday season. You know your gal here is all about the planning and the key roll that it plays in our business all year round, but at the holiday season when life outside and inside the salon gets a little cra-cra, we need to have our plans nailed down as soon as we can. So, this episode is full of tips for holiday promotion planning, I want you to have a stellar holiday season filled with abundant profits, and purpose being fulfilled.
Little side-note while you are listening. The Holiday Planning Workshop is ONLY open to Salon Quarterly members this year, but doors are open right now for you to get onto the program. The first live workshop is on October 10th, so there is still time before we close the doors again until 2023. CLICK HERE to find out more or DM me if you have any questions.

What is work life balance?
So work life balance for me has changed dramatically over the past few months since baby Camille arrived into our world. Things have needed to shift and move, my days are very different, and no two days are the same.
And after a few months of change, I have brought my work life balance back on track. In this episode, I will explain how I did this, how I ensure that I am honoring my priorities, how figuring out your hierarchy of priorities will allow you to do the same.
One of the key things within this new world that I life in is planning. Planning has always been a huge integral part of my day, month, quarter and year. But now, more than ever, planning is key. My Salon Quarterly journals allow me to get through my days and weeks and months, they keep me on track and ensure that I am focusing exactly where I need to focus. You can check these out by clicking here.
Enjoy the episode.
