What are your favorite winter activities?
We are in the heart of wintertime now, so why not talk about some fun winter themed speech therapy activities that you can do with your students?
The ideas I’m sharing on today’s episode of SLP Coffee Talk can be used with any age level. These themed activities are created with as many groups as possible in mind so that you can make your planning and prepping super easy. All you’ll need is one book, game, or resource to use with as many groups as needed.
I know it can be a challenge to stay motivated during these long and cold winter months, so these low-prep therapy ideas are my go-to activities when I need to get my students motivated and excited to work towards those speech goals.
You’ll learn about my favorite melting snowman game, ways to incorporate winter books into your lessons, storytelling games, describing games, and more.
I love these activities because they can be used again and again to work on different speech goals. Make sure to tune in to hear about these winter activities and how you can adapt them to whatever skills you are working on with your students.
