It is that keenly awaited time of the year again when the Masters' tournament appears over the horizon, signifying the end of winter and the start of the major season.
The most colourful and exciting of the majors, it is a truly magnificent showcase for professional and elite amateur golf worldwide.
It is golfing theatre, at its best, the drama of the final nine holes. It is as close to fantasy golf as we can imagine. There cannot be a golfer alive who does not dream of putting on a green jacket.
In this week's podcast, we discuss the current and historical tournament, as well as getting first-hand impressions of playing the course and revealing a few facts that many television viewers will probably be unaware of.
Plus, we explore and pick our potential winners of this event. This year there will be the added drama of LIV players alongside the elite of the PGA Tour. The top players use the week before the Masters to practice and get their game in Augusta National shape. As always, predicting the winner will be no easy task, but several players will be in the mix on Sunday afternoon. Last year The Golfing Mind podcast correctly predicted two of the Major winners. So we are naturally hoping to improve on that this year.
