In this episode, we will highlight some ways in which you can relax and recharge your batteries. Here are some general tips on ways you can get recharged:

• set aside one day a week to fully rest (lazy sundays are a good example)
• turn off WIFI (no internet means no emails, no streaming, no bluescreen)
• turn off your cell phone for a period of time
• take a relaxing hot bath
• request a mental health break from work
• learn to meditate
• get outside
• take a nap
• read (and not work related, for example, i read sci-fi when i have the opportunity)
• pamper yourself with something you enjoy

In addition, Kevin and Jason will give you some specific examples on how they recharge their own batteries.

So many people believe life is about working long hours and completing as much as possible in a given week. As much as Kevin and I believe in maximizing your weekly efforts, we also believe to do so comes with being intentional with your time.

Today our guest is Scott Hall. Scott is a retired Fire Chief from the Bellbrook Fire Department as well as a retired chief from the Huber Heights Fire Department. Scott served for over 30 years as a firefighter for both communities. Scott was a founding member of Ohio Task Force 1 and eventually became the Public Information Officer where he supported the federal team on disaster deployments giving information and updates to the media. Now retired from the Fire Service, Scott is now the owner of Hall Around Town Radio and Internet based broadcast solution supporting concerts, live music and charity events in the tri-state.
