Get ready for a stimulating conversation with the dynamic and relentlessly optimistic Jules Brooke, a woman who is undoubtedly redefining her midlife. I am honoured to share her journey and bring attention to a woman who devotes much of her time to promoting and supporting other women. As you'll discover, Jules has had a diverse and fulfilling career. She founded Handle Your Own PR, She’s the Boss Group, and Australian Women Speakers after teaching small business owners about publicity for over ten years. Additionally, she publishes a digital magazine called Maggie and will soon launch a live-stream video show in early 2024. Jules is incredibly passionate about empowering women, as you will hear as we discuss:
Her early life and career; which included relocating to Australia at 11 and working with major newspapers such as the Herald Sun classifieds, Sunday Observer, and Southern Cross.
Working from the dining room sometimes, surrounded by family and loving life.
Having the gift of the gab and also realising that she needed to be stretched.
Facing workplace discrimination and sexism, which became a catalyst for her to charge ahead, knowing the dynamics had to change.
