Why to ask for what you want:

❤️ it makes it easier on them

❤️ it cuts down on the cutter or things you don't need

❤️ ask for things you actually could use or really want

❤️ it sets you and them up for a successful holiday

How do you do it?

❤️ be reasonable and give price point options

❤️ tell them your sizes/colors

❤️ tell them your shopper if you have one - or who helps you when you go to look

❤️ tell them what you don’t want/need or don’t like

Then…

❤️ be genuinely grateful for what you get

❤️ realize life is long, if it doesn’t pan out perfectly, sometimes it’s best to realize they tried and don’t ruin the time.
