We can all (sadly) suffer a catastrophic loss of form on the golf course. It may last for a few holes, and it may last for the whole round. In every golfer's life, there will be weeks, if not months, when this loss of form is as puzzling as the pyramids and the solution as remote as a banjo-playing unicorn.
It can not only be demoralising but also spoil our enjoyment of the game to such an extent that people end up retiring from the game. However, that we should lose our form is not such a mystery as we are human and, therefore, Will experience highs and lows in many of our personal and professional endeavours.
The real question is what can we actively do about the situation to restore our game or at least not be dragged into (as happens so often with professionals) go down the paralysis-by-analysis path. Believing there is a straightforward thing we need to do to turn it all around.
In the professional game, there are some significant Major winners, who two years have fallen out of the top 100 rankings and, a few years after that, have disappeared entirely from the Tour. Fortunately, we don't play golf for a living, but there are things that will get us back to playing good golf and restoring personal satisfaction.
