Dasheeda started her career journey in medical school - but 3.5 years in, decided it wasn't for her and set off to forge a new path for herself in business. In 2016, Dasheeda officially traded in her career with Fortune 500 companies like Target and Victoria's Secret to become a cannabis entrepreneur and industry thought leader. She is currently the Founder & President of MJM Strategy, a digital-focused strategic consulting firm. She recently became the Interim Executive Director for the New Jersey Cannabis Commission and also serves on as the Chief Strategy Officer for Minorities for Medical Marijuana.
