How do you tell your eleven year old daughter that you have a brain tumour that will very likely take your life? Do you censor yourself for her sake? Do you pretend it's not there? Do you just follow your gut and talk to her like any other human being?

Blind in one eye, diagnosed with bipolar and sitting on a ticking time bomb brain tumour in her right frontal lobe that could take her out at any point. Are mental illness and brain tumours related?
