An indictment, dropped charges, and 20 years of neglect.

On January 3rd, 2022 Shelia and Clay Fletcher called 911 to report their 36-year-old daughter, Lacey, had stopped breathing.

Officers arrived in less than a minute but nothing could have prepared them for the scene inside the Fletcher home.

When the conditions Lacey had been living were discovered, the entire world was shocked.
