Investing legend Warren Buffett isn’t shy in his praise for index funds. For decades now, Buffett has insisted that most investors are best served by buying a low-cost index fund over shares. At the Get Rich Slow Club, we’re bullish on index funds as well – which is why we discuss them so often.

But if you’re new to investing, you might not be entirely sure what an index fund actually is.
