In sport, as in business, there is a huge premium put upon leadership. There are legendary leaders whose behaviours have been studied and analysed in the hope of revealing secrets.

In golf, there are very few team events as such, and we know from the past how critical a role a Captain plays in bringing it all together. For the average golfer every match requires the player are able to manage themselves (be self-led),   perform at their highest level and have the ability to be a 'great' partner.
