Dr Dan Pronk is a GP and was a former doctor within the Australian Special Operations Command. Dr Pronk was deployed on operations on 5 occasions with the Army including one time to Timor and 4 times to Afghanistan and over 100 combat missions.  Dan was awarded the Commendation for Distinguished Service for his conduct in action on his second tour of Afghanistan.
