In today's episode, Dr. Ashley Hickson, DrPH, MPH, a Senior Health Equity Advisor at Center for Science in the Public Interest. She is a mixed method researcher who focuses n achieving racial justice, health equity, reducing health disparities, co-creating interventions alongside the subpopulations most adversely affected, and designing sustainable solutions to mitigate challenges to health and well-being.She conferred a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science at The University of Texas at Austin, then got her Master of Public Health at UT Health Science Center Houston. She then worked in three organizations before receiving her Doctor of Public Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a concentration in Health Equity and Social Justice. She currently works as a Senior Health Equity Advisor at Center for Science in the Public Interest.
