Dr. Shirlene Obuobi is a Ghanaian-American physician, cartoonist, and author who was raised in various locations, including Chicago, Illinois, Hot Springs, Arkansas, and The Woodlands, Texas. When she is not tending to patients in the hospital, and even sometimes while doing so, she indulges in the art of comic creation, crafting stories on her mobile device, and doting on her trio of feline companions. Her current residence is in Chicago, where she is in the final stages of her cardiology fellowship.
