Inclusive education is the practice of educating students with disabilities in the mainstream classrooms alongside their typically developing peers. Research tells us that inclusion learning can have some big, positive impacts on academic and social outcomes for students with disabilities. However, as special education teachers, we have to be prepared to support these students in this setting..it doesn't just happen.
