Ampersand Health is a social purpose company. Their primary objective is to improve the health and quality of life of patients with inflammatory conditions like Crohn's, Colitis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Atopic Dermatitis. They work with other subject matter experts, including leading clinicians, patient groups and industry to develop unique therapeutic programmes focused on lifestyle and their apps use behavioural- and data-science to support improvements in sleep, mental health and adherence for people living with an inflammatory condition. They also work with the NHS, helping clinicians keep tabs on patients remotely, avoiding unnecessary hospital appointments and reducing the overall cost of care.

Ampersand Health is recognised in the Digital Health Global 100, and has won an HSJ Award, the NHS Ideas Lab, the NHS Hackfest and competitive grants from government and industry. The company was selected for the 2018/19 PWC Scale Health programme, the NHS’s 2019/20 DigitalHealth.London accelerator and Techforce 19.
