In today’s episode, we have Dr. Ashanti Carter, Ed.Dc, MPH, the Co-Founder and CEO of HEROES ED as well as an Adjunct Faculty at Trinity Washington University, and Chair of the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education. She's someone working towards education equity.  She conferred a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development at UC San Diego worked as a School Teacher before getting her Master of Public Health at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science as well as a 
Doctor of Education at The George Washington University.
