A wet summers day in London but no-one seemed to mind at a sold out London Stadium for the Novuna London Athletics Meet in the Diamond League. Especially as it was confirmed on the morning of the event that London would be bidding for the World Athletics Champs in 2029! We've the latest from UK Athletics CEO Jack Buckner.

On the track, a year ago the athletes were off to the Paris Olympics the next day, but this year it's still two months til the World Champs in Tokyo and World Para Champs in Delhi.
