Loris Baz is near the end of his debut season in the MotoAmerica HONOS Superbike Championship with the Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati of New York team and it's been a struggle. Faced with a new bike, a new team, a new series, a new country and new on-track rivals, the Frenchman has done much better than he thinks. He's currently fifth in the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship with six podiums and he'd be much higher in the title chase if not for the five non-finishes. We caught up with Baz at New Jersey Motorsports Park for the penultimate round of the series and this week's 150th edition of Off Track With Carruthers And Bice.
