Dr. Sharona Dayan comes from a family chock full of dentists. As a child growing up in Tehran she often went to her father's practice after school and saw that his patients were like family. It was her father's A-list of clients that helped him escape persecution in Iran and move his family to safety in the United States. She became the first person in her family to attend Harvard where she obtained her specialty certificates in Perio, Oral Medicine and also became a Doctor of Medical Sciences, conducting NIH-funded research in the field of cancer biology. She loves to teach and she is working on her first book called "Keep Your Natural Teeth."
