The young South African came into the Supersport class fresh off finishing third in the SportbikeTrackGear.com Junior Cup Championship where he had landed on the podium 13 times. But he didn't win. So who knew that Lochoff would be the revelation of the Supersport Series in his rookie season, finishing third in the championship and wait for it... winning a race? Yes, Lochoff won a Supersport race in his debut season, setting himself up as one of the favorites in 2022 - no matter what class he ends up racing in.
