Dax, who found his passion for writing while on a bus with his basketball team, transitioned into music, gaining recognition with his mixtape "2pac Reincarnation Vol 2: As Told By Dax" in 2017. He continued to release music, with notable singles like "Cash Me Outside" and "Dear God". Dax's career further expanded with the release of his debut studio album "Pain Paints Paintings" in October 2021, followed by successful singles like "Dear Alcohol" and a collaboration with Elle King. With his success, he was able to build 2.3 million Instagram followers, 6.34 million YouTube subscribers, and 3.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Dax has established himself as an indie music superstar.
