Devin grew up in Sacramento, CA and also in Ohio. He graduated from Miami of Ohio in Oxford, then studied cell & molecular biology in New York and Pittsburgh before he finally saw the light and went to Dental School at the University of Pittsburgh. After dental school he went to the US Army, where he was sent to Texas, Georgia and Germany. He then went into private practice in Ohio, also worked in prisons in Ohio, and finally moved back to Germany to finish out his career.
