This episode we are joined by Micki Chau - Founder of the OlFactory Shop - a natural fragrance company that also creates essential oils, sprays, perfumes, skin care products, difusers, candles and cool gift sets.
The OlFactory Shop was born out Micki's love of plant powers and desire to rid synthetic fragrance from your home and your body.
As someone who has always had synthetic fragrance sensitivities, Micki's goal is to create 100% all natural products that fit into a healthy and natural life.
Also, while on her honeymoon to Cambodia in September 2018 - Micki learned of Cambodia's dark past and of the violent regime change nearly 40 years ago which led to a massive genocide of an estimated 1.7 million people, and of the millions of landmines left over from the war.
Landmines still plague Cambodia today, and the OlFactory Shop supports numerous social causes in Cambodia where Micki's goal is to improve living conditions in the country - through financial contribution.
We sat down for a smooth cup of rose bros coffee and talked about the e-commerce strategies for building a business online, the OlFactory's social cause of helping landmine removal in Cambodia, good business books and a lot more!
Also, if you have a moment and can leave a positive review of the podcast on Apple Podcasts, it would be much appreciated as that goes a long way to helping support the show!
