Wayne Cleveland is an iconic local from the Southern Sydney suburb of  Maroubra. Big wave charger and life-long surfer, Wayne is a larger than life character that is full of charisma, energy, and an innate kindness that underlies his robust stature and presence. This week, Wayne shares openly and honestly about the events of his wild life so far... Charging big waves, cocaine smuggling, being under police surveillance, 10 years of prison time, getting (and staying) sober, using prison time to work on himself, his passion for hunting big waves (every single swell), harnessing his entrepreneurial spirit in a positive way, and much much more.  It's raw, real, and at times confronting to hear Wayne's story, but it has a resounding redemptive nature to it. For me,  I learnt that while there is still breath in your lungs, it's never too late to start again. You are only a product of your past if you allow it, you don't have to be defined by it.
