Dr Rachel David is the CEO of Private Healthcare Australia, the private health insurance industry's peak representative body that currently has 22 registered health funds throughout Australia and collectively represents 98% of people covered by private health insurance. Dr David was a medical adviser to the Federal Minister for Health between 1996 and 2000, and subsequently held senior positions with CSL Ltd and McKinsey & Company before taking up her current post in 2015.
