We’re back with Episode 192 of the USA Soccercast, and we get a double dose of Landon Donovan on this episode as we get ready for the World Cup!

First, we were fortunate to sit down with Landon as part of his work with the Abbott Dream Team, which sends a couple of players from the United States to train at Real Madrid. It’s a great opportunity for them, and Landon speaks about not just the World Cup, but the opportunity the access to top notch soccer can have for aspiring players.

We then got a chance to see Landon Donovan in action at a Raising Cane’s in Inglewood in Hollywood Park just steps from SoFi Stadium. The new Raising Cane’s location was the site of him not just serving chicken to fans, but also to answer questions about the World Cup and what the USMNT players are probably going through as they are a couple of days away from walking out onto the field at SoFi Stadium for their opening match against Paraguay. Landon’s always engaging and candid, and this episode is a must listen!
