Legendary professional Australian Skateboarder, Mick Mulhall joins me for an in-person chat, live from his home in Five Dock, Sydney Australia this week. I'm joined by special guest co-hosts, and longtime friends of Mick, Darren Kaehne and Billy Harris. We commune with Mick at a delicate time in his life,  with the recent passing of his mother, combined with the arduous task of packing up, and selling the family home they have owned for over 50 years. Mick takes us on a journey through his life of skateboarding and creativity. He discusses finding skateboarding in the late 70's, life growing up in the inner west of Sydney, being the only skateboarder at school, being bullied by jocks and teachers for being 'different', his parent's divorce, fundamentally being raised by a single mother, his love for Keirle Park vert ramp even though the transitions were put on upside down, Fairfield vert and mini-ramp days, John Finlay stories, travelling Europe with Chad Ford and Wade Burkitt, his love for the Manly Blades Aerial Assult team, that time he broke his jaw learning 540s at the old Five Dock, the friendships and life-long connections he has made through skateboarding, getting sponsored, designing his first pro-model, back-to-back 8 foot backside airs, method airs (that are personally engrained in my memory), and much much more.
Being in that house with Mick, surrounded by his epic collection of (original) skate memorabilia felt truely special.
