In this episode of the podcast, I speak with someone I have never met in person, but consider him a friend. His name is Andrew Morrow, Gamertag "Dayman" in CS:GO. LOL, yes, you read that right. We became friends through video games. It is just another platform for me to practice my community policing to break down barriers. What drew my attention to Dayman, he is/was very anti-police. We discuss how he claimed I helped him change that opinion. He goes on to talk about a mental health crisis situation that I was able to help him with, despite the fact we only knew each other for a short time (1 month). This brings up the question, can community policing be done city to city? State to State? This may be a new concept under development after having this wonderful discussion. Fun talk for sure, check it out.
