Healthy growth doesn’t happen by accident, and it requires you to choose the second of two paths for growth. In this episode, Alex shares 11 dichotomies that demonstrate the difference between those two paths. The first path is fragile, feeble, frantic, and weak, and the second path is healthy, centered, stable, and strong. If you want to be intentional about practicing healthy growth in your business and your personal life, this episode is full of applicable insight.

1. Emotion, problem, and reaction driven vs. priority, plan, and process driven (7:39)

2. Plagued by comparison vs. preoccupied with commitments (10:43)

4. Disliking the person you’re becoming vs. liking the person you’re becoming (18:38)

5. Frustrated by what the organization is becoming vs. liking what the organization is becoming (21:05)

6. Obsessed with the destination vs. enjoying the process (24:49)

7. Stressed about underachievement vs. experiencing contentment (28:51)

8. Striving for freedom in the future vs. knowing freedom is possible today (31:34)

9. Haunted by the idea that they’re never enough vs. humbled by the idea that they’re never enough (36:40)

10. Surrounded by followers vs. surrounded with leaders (38:56)

11. Consumed by what matters now vs. focused on what matters most (40:44)
