This episode is all about menstrual cycle awareness . Creating intimacy and awareness around our period. By creating awareness you are able to learn about you , and work around your cycle. You are able to communicate your wants / needs to the people around you . We are also able to set boundaries and understand what we need in every phase of our menstrual cycle . By understanding our cycle we can then learn about ourselves for example , when we need to step away and rest.
By being able to recognise if we need some alone time. To then be able to support our body in the best way possible. This will then further go on to support our emotional state aswell. One way of being able to understand our cycle is by tracking it . This can be done by using a journal planner or using an app. One example is using the app called flow. By using this app you can then better understand your cravings , desires and moods . Aswell as create an optimised life around your cycle .
By doing this you will see big changes and how to ask for your needs. By being able to support your body during your cycle you will better understand yourself and your hormones in a way that you will make things work better for you. By making this a practice you are then able to give the body what it naturally needs . It all takes practice and commitment whether it be taking time for yourself, slowing down , or spending time along.
