Well, this topic reminds me of the time I moved from Heshun Town to Kunming. Heshun is an ancient town located in the southwestern part of Yunnan province, while Kunming is the capital city. My parents separated when I was young, so my mom took me to Heshun under my grandma's wing. I spent a blissful childhood there and finished my elementary education.

Like most parents, my mom wanted me to obtain an excellent education, and that means moving to the city. Unfortunately, my grandma didn't want to come with us because she owns a farm there that she didn't want to leave. Although we didn't want to be too far from her, we had to move to Kunming. At this point, I could already fend for myself, so my mom was at ease despite not having grandma with us.

The city was so different from Heshun. Kunming is very modernized, lively, and even more convenient. Anyhow, I enrolled in a hundred-year-old elite school that is notable for its outstanding performances in college entrance exams, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Of course, I had to be competitive, so I often burned the midnight oil. I was busy as a bee, but all the hard work I did was worth it. I passed the college entrance exam and got into aprestigious university. I still have a long way to go, but I'm filled with gratitude to my mom and granny for the support they had been giving me all these years, and I hope that they would both live long enough for me to pay them back.
