I’m going to tell you about a story that I heard. I heard it on the radio a few days ago. So I can remember it well. It was about a wild(野生禽鸟) bird which is quite big and black. I’m not sure what kind of bird it was but it was a common(普通的) one. 

Well, one day, a little girl was giving food to a group of birds in her garden whileher mother was helping her. Then the wild bird came in the garden to take some food, but the little girl didn’t notice it.

Then, one morning, the little girl found a piece of shiny(闪闪发亮的) paper in the garden on a table where she gave food to those birds. The paper was quite pretty so she took it into the house. After that, there was something on the same table every morning.It was always something shiny and pretty but small. Nobody could understand where these things were coming from.

Anyway, a few weeks later, the little girl woke up early and she decided tofigure out（弄明白） what would happen on the table. So she watched the table from the window of her bedroom. She saw a big black bird coming to the table and leaving something shiny there. Magically（神奇般地）,the bird was saying thank you for the food. After that, she saw the bird left many things on the table. She was so joyful（开心） and she always gave this wild bird some food.

I remember this story because it’s such a lovely story and I think it’s amazing（奇迹般的）that a bird could say thank you like a person does.
