I believe that a home should be filled with laughter and joy. So, I want my house to be big enough to fit the people who I love the most. I also want it to have good lighting inside, so I will install(安装) glass windows so that natural light can enter. I love taking photos, so this will be perfect for the sun-kissed look I’m always looking for. Aside from this, I want to have a nice balcony(阳台) where I can sit and drink my coffee while enjoying the view.

In the living room, I want to have a fireplace(壁炉) where we can all hang out, heat marshmallows(棉花糖), and exchange stories about our day. It should have five rooms and a spacious(宽敞的) common area. Also, rooms would be painted with a light color since it makes the room feel brighter and larger while creating a pleasing(令人愉悦的) atmosphere. Moreover, being an artist, I want my art displayed. It will be a constant reminder(不断的提醒) to keep on going(继续前进) and to keep on creating. After all, art makes a home more human.

Moving on to the kitchen, I want it to have an oven and a dishwasher. These were things that I did not grow up having(从小就没有), so owning one would feel like an accomplishment(成就). My sister loves baking pastries(烘焙糕点), so it will be fitting for her. As for my bedroom, I want it to have a huge mirror for my vanity(虚荣). Since I will most probably spend a lot of time here, a mini-fridge, big flatscreen television(宽屏电视), and a walk-in closet(步入式衣帽间) are quite essential. The thought of it makes me so excited! I can’t wait to finally build my dream home.
