Ben Currie is a professional skateboarder, kind human, and dog lover. Recorded in-person at his property located on the edge of the Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park, Ben opens up about his life so far.  He shares about the passing of his father at the delicate age of 13, growing up skating in Melbourne, using grief as motivation to commit to scary tricks, the positive influence of Andrew Mapstone, his views on competitive skateboarding, his sponsorship journey,  skate industry observations, skatepark etiquette conundrums, why we are not special just because we skate,  the big move  from Melbourne to Sydney, his personal strategies for overcoming adversity, injures, relationship break-ups,  and much much more.  Humble, compassionate, and well articulated, Ben is a rad human, who is wise beyond his years.
