#213: The Roadmap to Owning Your Story

In this Monday mindset episode, I am sharing the roadmap to owning your story.  Owning your story refers to taking full ownership for your part in your story, for taking radical responsibility for your choices, action, and reactions in response to your story.  This is the roadmap I use with my clients to help my clients uncover the lessons they learned from their story, which ultimately leads to uncovering what you are an expert of and how you can learn to share those lessons with others.  The impact you are here to make is wrapped up in the stories you have lived.  That is where you will find your expertise. 

In today’s episode, we discuss:1. Start by writing down your story, go back as far as you can remember, write down your wins, experiences with as much unfiltered detail as possible. 2. Look for the stories or patterns that you repeated, and what do they have in common? What did you learn, what did your stories teach you, who did you become from living through these experiences? 3. Write down the 4-5 things that you could teach others because you know them better than anyone else.  This is the roadmap to owning your story, and you could teach these steps to others to make an impact.
