Just when most of us thought that Josh Herrin was going to defend his MotoAmerica Supersport Championship in 2023, everything changed in just a few short weeks. Ducati brought Xavi Fores into the Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati NYC team and announced that the Spaniard was going to race the Panigale V2 in the Supersport class. Herrin, meanwhile, was getting bumped up to the premier MotoAmerica Medallia Superbike Championship. Merry Christmas, Mr. Herrin.
