We welcome Eyla onto the show. We touch on the role of a Doula .A Doula is an emotional and physical support person during the pregnancy , the birth and postpartum . 

A doula is overall an individual that holds space for transition.   It is very important to have the support of a doula , as you will  have a newborn baby at home , a new identity and navigating these changes are easily met with a doula .We touch on a Lotus Birth , A lotus Birth is leaving the cord and waiting for the cord to cut off naturally. It is gentle energetically and physically . We also go on to speak about the Bradley method,  he was the biggest advocate for having a pain and drug free child birth .  

Females a year on from having a C section do experience discomfort and pain at the incision site. or in the spine where the epidural was done. If having Reiki done over the incision site can sometimes bring up traumatic memories. We also touch on counter pressure  in a way to make the female more comfortable and what you can do to help the mother . As well as the importance of going to a birth class to avoid having  a traumatic experience and the importance of knowing what to expect.
