A member of the Playboy print team since 2015, James Rickman (@Jhrickman) previously served as managing editor of PAPER magazine. Before that he juggled many short-lived editorial jobs while playing in bands based in Brooklyn and the Bay Area. As a writer, he has contributed to the Rumpus, Talkhouse, Alt Citizen, The Airship Daily, Playback and the two magazines that have employed him, covering satanic metal, the resurgence of the ERA and much in between. Note: Rickman parted ways with Playboy in May of 2020.
