Jill Winger is the founder of The Prairie Homestead (one of the first homesteading websites and blogs on the internet), a cornerstone of the modern homesteading movement since 2010. Jill and her family pursue a lifestyle of modern-homesteading on the wide open prairies of Wyoming. They dabble in a variety of small-scale agricultural endeavors including organic gardening, grass-fed beef cattle, home dairying, poultry, and more.

She blogs at The Prairie Homestead where she encourages others to return to their roots, no matter where they live.
