Newly classified varieties of wheat are now listed on the 2025-2026 Wheat Variety Master List, which names all current varieties approved by Grains Australia’s wheat classification process. Grains Australia Classification General Manager Dr Megan Sheehy joined Leah on the show this morning to take us through why it is important and some of the varieties.
Plus we heard from Murray Findlay, from Albany who is one of the finalists competing in the National Grains Young Judges Championship final in September.
