In this episode of The Real Build, I talked with Todd Dawalt. He is the owner of Construction Leading Edge, where he helps construction business owners boost revenue, put financial worries behind them, and turn their company into a well-oiled machine.
Dawalt has a website and top-rated podcast dedicated to helping construction leaders grow both their leadership skills and their income.
Too many small construction businesses are closing their doors every year. These companies are owned by good, hard-working people who put it all on the line to run a business. However, in many cases, while they are keen on the technical aspect, they are not as sharp when it comes to business and leadership.
This is what happened to Todd Dawalt.
Todd owned a construction business for nearly four years but had to shut it down in 2005. It was the worst few years of his life.
Todd set out to help people avoid making the same mistakes he made. Todd decided to create a website and podcast to share what he knows, interview some people who are doing it right, and make it available to the public so we can improve our industry in the area of business and leadership.
Todd and I discussed a variety of topics that construction businesses should be doing to benefit themselves and the customers they serve.
Thank you for listening, and all I ask for is that you take the time to write a review.
