"'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
In this episode of The Real Build, I had the privilege of sitting down with Pastor Anthony Hart, the Lead Pastor at Greenbrier Community Church in Virginia. Over the past couple of years, Anthony and I have developed a strong connection through our bible study group, Warriors For Christ, and I was thrilled to have him as a guest on the show.
We dove deep into a conversation about actively incorporating our faith into our businesses, aligning our professional lives with God's purpose. Pastor Anthony shared powerful insights on the importance of keeping God at the center of our families and what it truly means to be the best husbands, fathers, and leaders in a world that often pulls us in different directions. We explored how we are all called to honor God by striving to be the best versions of ourselves in every aspect of life.
One of the most impactful parts of our discussion was around the concept of being "leaders of leaders"—men and women who are called to lead with integrity and faith, especially in a world that is so often broken. Pastor Anthony emphasized the power of great leadership and our responsibility to influence others positively through our actions, words, and example.
This episode is for anyone looking to integrate faith, family, and leadership in a meaningful way and be the light that God has called us to be.

Originally from New York, Jamie relocated to Marco Island with her family in 1997, where she has since become an integral part of the Southwest Florida community.
Jamie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University. Building on her academic foundation, Jamie pursued further studies and obtained her MBA with an emphasis in General Management from the same institution.
Passionate about giving back, Jamie is highly active in the local community. She has served as the past secretary of the Neapolitan Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) and was honored as Woman of the Year in 2014 for her outstanding contributions. Jamie's dedication to leadership development is evident through her completion of the 12-week Leadership Marco program in 2009 and the eight-week Growing Associates in Naples (GAIN) program in 2015.
Jamie and I talked about a few financial topics. Things like:
Financial literacy with the youth and how schools need to teach it.

In this episode of The Real Build, I sat down with Vinnie Candelore, the creative director at 1 Team Media and owner of VC2 Art. Vinnie specializes in a wide range of artistic mediums, including paintings, custom shoes, art prints, and murals. He also hosts The Athletic Aesthetic Podcast, where art and sports connect through engaging conversations.
Vinnie grew up working from a young age, and after trying out different jobs, he never found something he truly loved. However, as a child, Vinnie always had a passion for drawing and painting. After walking away from a job, he decided to fully commit to his true passion—painting—and the rest is history.
Today, Vinnie paints portraits of some of the top athletes in various sports and designs custom shoes for many of them. He has also become a major contributor to the growth of 1 Team Media in Pittsburgh, PA.

In this episode of The Real Build, I sat down with my former high school football coach, friend, and mentor Coach Chris Metzger. Coach Metzger made a huge impact on my life growing up. He not only coached me in football but also instilled in me the values of hard work, discipline, and perseverance that have carried me throughout my life and career. His Leadership on and off the field helped shape the person I am today, and I’m honored to share our conversation, where we discuss the lessons learned on the gridiron, the importance of mentorship, and how faith in God has been a guiding force in both of our lives.
Some other topics we discussed were going from transactional to transitional in coaching. Metzger's 5 Pillars of Success: Leadership is biblical, how you do one thing is how you do all things, and you take ownership.
